The Ultra Powerup (stylised as 'ULTRA POWERUP!!' in-game and in the Monochrome book.svg player manual), although made after Dizzy Bomb, is a powerup that cannot be ordered alongside others due to its different method of spawning. It was added to Fortress Blast in version 4.0 and is a completely original powerup. It is an exceedingly rare powerup, having a default spawning chance of 0.1%, which is controlled by the ConVar sm_fortressblast_ultra_rate. Upon use, a modified version of the Saxxy 2011 Theme plays and the following effects are added to the user for 10 seconds:
